One about two years old now and the other about a year. But if you meant that a fine trigger job can't be done on a newer G-2, not so much. If you meant as the Contender's came out of the box, I would agree. So am somewhat familiar with triggers on handguns. After that it was police combat and any more it's pistol bench rest with cast bullets. I am an old pistolero left over from the sixties during which I competed for probably ten years or so during the bulls eye days. You can get a much better trigger job than you will with a G2
